Kessie's change of heart - at Barca to stay

All the reports were pointing towards Franck Kessie leaving Barca ahead of next season. The Ivory Coast midfielder could be sold in the summer in order to reduce the side's wage bill, therefore giving them more margin to sign new players.
The midfielder himself has taken it upon himself to deny these stories and make his intentions clear. According to 'Sport', the player has told the Catalan side that he wants to stay at the side next season as he is very happy there.
Barcelona are also on the same page as the player, which is why, according to the source, the 'Cules' will not be putting Kessie up for sale in the summer.
In fact, Xavi could take matters into his own hands to tell the ex-Milan man that he can not leave. It appears that he has several offers and Barcelona side want to rule out the possibility.
