Ronald Koeman, reaffirmed his statements made a few days ago. He assures that Barça forced the return of Frenkie de Jong when he was still injured and that has weighed down the player. He responded to the journalist who asked him about it: "I think I have more privileged information than you. I don't regret what I said."

Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman told a press conference on Wednesday that he has no regrets about what he said 48 hours ago, when he accused Barcelona of forcing the return in April of Frenkie de Jong, then on the end of an injury and now out of the European Championship due to a bad ankle.
The former Barcelona coach did not rectify a single word he said last Monday, the day he reported that De Jong would not be able to compete in Germany. Moreover, he did so after bluntly answering a journalist.
"I think I have a bit more inside information than you do. I don't regret what I said at all. But let's get it over with. I won't go into more details because I had a good conversation with Frenkie about it and it will stay between us," he explained.
Furthermore, asked if he would have taken risks with De Jong during the European Championship if the title was up for grabs, he stated that he has always been able to "estimate the risk factor well" although he made it clear that in these cases, it also depends on the player. "And that's all I'm going to say about that. I also talked about it with Frenkie," he said.
