According to reports in Germany, the Belgian manager has reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich. Kompany has Bundesliga experience, having played at Hamburg before joining Manchester City.
He took the reins of Burnley in 2022, taking them to the Premier League as second-division champions a season later. But now the 38-year-old is ready to return to Germany. So much so that he is already planning the German giants' squad for next campaign.
According to 'The Sun', Kompany wants to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City to play alongside compatriot Harry Kane in attack. The left winger has lost his pecking order under Pep Guardiola following the arrival of Jeremy Doku at the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish has been playing as a substitute this term - also due to injuries he suffered between February and March, scoring just three goals and providing three assists in 36 appearances.
