Bayern Munich kicked off pre-season training under new coach Vincent Kompany on Monday with pre-season medical examinations.
The players called up for the preparations for the new season, including Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry, among others, underwent various radiological and cardiological tests at the Barmherzige Bruder hospital in Munich in the morning, before continuing with a gym session in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, the second part of the medical examination took place before the players take the field together for the first time on Wednesday under the guidance of the new coach, although some have already trained individually at Bayern's training complex in recent weeks to get ready for the new season.
For the moment, the German club have already announced the signings of three new players: Hiroki Ito, Michael Olise and Joao Palhinha, although more signings are expected.

Kompany's new project, which will be joined by the internationals who have just finished the European Championship, will have its first warm-up match on 24 July against FC Rottach-Egern.
The German squad will then take part in a training camp at Lake Tegernsee near Munich from 22 to 24 July, and in the Audi Summer Tour in South Korea from 31 July to 5 August, where they will play a friendly against Tottenham.
Their first official match will take place on 16 August against SSV Ulm 1846 in the German Cup, while the Bundesliga opener against Wolfsburg will take place on the weekend of 24 August.
