Joselu, on loan at Real Madrid from Espanyol, has given an interview to newspaper 'AS' in which he says he is impressed by the level of play of Toni Kroos. At 33, the midfielder still makes Real Madrid's midfield shine, and his team-mates benefit greatly from his presence in the team.
"Toni Kroos should have won five Ballon d'Or awards! He's an incredible player, capable of making a game-changing impact. He's one of the players who has caught my eye the most at Real Madrid.
"He never loses a ball and plays with a coolness that makes him different. It's a pleasure to play with him," the Spanish international told the Spanish newspaper.
Despite the arrivals of Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga, the midfield maestro is showing that he is still capable of helping his team. Just like 37-year-old Luka Modric.
