Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos spoke to 'MagentaTV' and talked about the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup between Argentina and France.
The German international had only words of praise for Leo Messi: "He deserves it. I've never seen a footballer play so regularly. Besides, he has never played for clubs I like, which means I mean it."
In addition, Kroos said that he sees Zidane as the best possible replacement for Deschamps: "I think 'Zizou' would not only be a good replacement, but the best possible replacement for sure.
"Now, the big question is: what does Deschamps want? Let's say I think there is a 70-30 chance that Zidane will become the new coach. In general, I think 'Zizou' is very keen to return to coaching," he concluded.
