Kroos' renewal with Madrid already signed

Real Madrid are preparing for the most important week of the season. On Saturday, the 'Merengues' will play the Copa del Rey final against Osasuna, while three days later they will host Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals.
However, in the midst of all the pressure, the team received a piece of news that brought peace of mind for next season. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Toni Kroos reached an agreement with the board and signed his renewal until mid-2024.​
A few months ago, the 33-year-old midfielder had questioned his continuity and made it clear that he would make a decision on his future once the season was over. However, fortunately for Madrid, the decision came sooner than expected.
The Italian journalist claims that the documents have already been signed by both parties. It only remains for the 'Merengues' to issue a statement and announce the renewal of the midfielder through their official channels.
Thus, Kroos will remain at his beloved Real Madrid for another year. With the German's continuity guaranteed, Real Madrid will now try to reach the same agreement with Karim Benzema and Luka Modric, who are in exactly the same situation.
