English defender Kyle Walker is reportedly keen on a move to Germany, according to 'Daily Mail'. The outlet reports that there have been significant talks between the club and Walker's representatives, though no agreement has been reached just yet.
Walker has been rumoured to be wanting to leave Premier League champions Manchester City, after feeling less and less like an important part of Pep Guardiola's team. His absence from the starting XI as City faced Inter Milan in the UCL final might have been the last straw.
He admitted he was 'disappointed' to only come off the bench 10 minutes before the end of the match, and 'Sky Germany' reporter Florian Plettenburg tweeted that "All parties are optimistic to finalise the deal".
The 33-year-old had been loosely linked to a return to his boyhood club, newly-promoted Sheffield United, but it was questionable whether they would be able to handle his large salary, and a move to Bayern would keep him playing Champions League football.
