Spanish midfielder Rodri Hernandez spoke to 'L'Equipe' about the differences between La Liga and the Premier League. "They are almost different sports," he said when comparing the two domestic championships.
The 27-year-old played in La Liga for both Atletico Madrid and Villarreal. In fact, he trained at Villarreal's academy.
He also spoke about his choice to stay away from social media: "Social media is about doing things based on people's opinions, based on what you imagine they expect from you. And I never felt like I needed that," he said.
"I feel good that way, without networks. I can even tell you that it's a very good decision I made for my life and also for my career," he continued.
Rodri is absent from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. The Manchester City player stressed that "it's a decision" he made "from a young age". "From very early on I decided to live my life my way, according to my wishes, without being influenced by others," he concluded.
