Barcelona, after losing to Real Sociedad and drawing against Celta Vigo, got back to the form they showed in October against Stade Brestois on matchday 5 of the Champions League. This Saturday, they will be able to confirm their return to form when they face Las Palmas at home.
Hansi Flick, Cule's coach, spoke to the press to give an overview of his side's current situation. "I expect the team to be very well prepared for Las Palmas, as you could see in training today. A lot of players are coming back and we have a great situation for us," he summed up about the state of the squad.
"Lamine? He is back and ready to play. We haven't decided yet if he will start, but I think he can and will play," he added. Afterwards, he was asked how Frenkie de Jong is doing.
"For me, he was injured and now he is progressing and for me personally, three or four weeks ago, when he started playing, he was in a different mentality and that was before the break. We are supporting him and, finally, in the centre, we have a lot of midfielders, so I have to decide that the players are 100 per cent and I will always come back to him when he is there. The situation is that he has minutes. He will get them," he said.
