Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Pedri, who won the European Championship with Spain on 14th July, returned to training on Monday at the Joan Gamper training complex after a three-week holiday.
The 'Cules' returned to pre-season training, undergoing the relevant medical checks and training in Sant Joan Despi (Barcelona) along with some of the injured members of the squad while waiting for the rest of the squad to finish their holidays or return from the tour of the United States.
Lamine and Ferran returned from Germany without any physical problems, unlike Pedri, who is still recovering from an internal lateral sprain in his left knee suffered in the quarter-finals of the European Championship against Germany.
The Spanish midfielder started a specific recovery plan in Tenerife and will now continue in Barcelona to try to be available to Hansi Flick's orders for La Liga opener against Valencia on 17th August at Mestalla.
In addition to Pedri's injury, the Catalan side are also without Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo and Ansu Fati.
The next to return are Eric Garcia, Pau Cubarsi and Fermin Lopez, who qualified for the semi-finals of the Paris Olympics with Spain. The latter, who has already scored three goals in the competition, will do so after having also played in the European Championship, albeit in a more residual role.
After beating Manchester City (on penalties after a 2-2 draw) and Real Madrid (1-2), the Catalan side will face Milan in their last American game. On the same day, they will return to Barcelona.
Before the start of the competitions, Flick's men will play the Joan Gamper Trophy against Monaco next Monday, five days before the league opener against Valencia.
