Languishing Liverpool beaten by Toulouse in UEL

Today was not the day for Jurgen Klopp's men. Despite starting the game creating chances and controlling possession, Toulouse managed to win 3-2 at home to increase their chances of progressing to the next round of the Europa League.

Liverpool started the game pressing high and creating chances but Toulouse took the lead in the 36th minute thanks to a goal from Donnum. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp tried to hit back in the second half with the substitutions of Szoboszlai, Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah but they failed to make an impact as Dallinga and Magri extended the hosts' lead. Casseres scored an own goal to give the Reds hope but the visitors were unable to take advantage of his mistake. Jota scores Liverpool's second goal in the 89th minute to tighten up the match. Quansah scores in injury time to restart the match but it is disallowed for a handball by Mac Allister.
