Manchester City just managed to take three points from their visit to Bramall Lane, despite dominating possession and shots all through the game.
Erling Haaland was wasteful in front of goal and missed a first-half penalty, leaving the visitors frustrated at the break. The Norwegian found a way past Sheffield United in the second half, nodding home the opener.
The hosts thought they'd snagged a point with a goal by Jayden Bogle in the 85th minute but Rodri pulled through for the defending champions with a hammer shot finding the top corner of the net just three minutes later.
