Worrying news from Norway. Leeds United Championship goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson has been hospitalised following a road traffic accident in his home country.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper was driving a BMW M5 which crashed into a barricade at midnight on Tuesday night in Berger, Lillestrom.
Leeds confirmed to the Yorkshire Evening Post that Klaesson was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the road accident.
Fortunately, as 'Romerikes Blad' reports, Klaesson was unhurt and on his feet. As a precaution, he was taken by ambulance to Akershus University Hospital.
