On loan to RB Leipzig without an option to buy, the Dutchman has already won unanimous approval from the German club, who would like to keep him at the end of the season.

Given Xavi Simons' brilliant performances for RB Leipzig, it is easy to see why the German club want to keep him for more than just one season.
Paris Saint-Germain brought back the 20-year-old midfielder this summer, signing him on a contract that runs until 2027, before loaning him out to Germany without an option to buy for the current season.
The problem is that the French club insist it will do everything in their power to keep him next June. With 3 goals and 4 assists in the Bundesliga, Simons' start to the season has been exceptional, and Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl is well aware of this.
"Xavi has made a very good start and is becoming emotionally attached to the club. We will try to ensure that he stays with us longer next summer," he told 'Kicker'.
