Lewandowski asks for 'patience' and impresses with good Spanish

Robert Lewandowski continues to expand his achievements. The Polish forward increased his palmares after winning the Golden Boot for the 2021-22 season. During the ceremony, the striker surprised everyone, given that he spoke in Spanish during his speech after receiving the prize.
"I'm very happy in the city. I'm sure that the 2023-24 season will be very good, Barca is more than a club. For me, this award is very important", the Polish international said.
Lewandowski assessed the project up until now: "Several errors have been made. Naturally, this team needs a process to adapt and grow. I'm convinced that for the Barca younsters who are off to the World Cup, it'll be a great experience. We're doing things really well. At the end of the day, you've got to have a bit of patience".
Lastly, the Pole spoke about the mis-haps in Europe: "We made mistakes in the Champions League that you just can't make, because they get you knocked-out. It wasn't easy. We've got to think positively and look forward. We're all working together, after the World Cup we'll be back with more confidence".
