One of the main names being batted around in last summer's transfer window was Robert Lewandowski. The Pole decided to put an end to his stint at Bayern Munich to tackle the new challenge of playing at Barcelona.
Six months are almost up since he arrived, and it was a signing that was celebrated by many, including Ter Stegen. The goalkeeper spoke to 'DAZN' and praised his teammate.
"He arrived with that experience which I don't think I need to explain. What I've been able to do I think I have done and, by the looks of things, him too in terms of the language and everything. He is really getting involved, and that helps him personally too, but his teammates too", he affirmed.
"You don't need to talk about his quality. We knew what we were signing and that is what he does, and he's better than we could have imagined", he added.
To end, Ter Stegen talked about how this season is going, as he has only let in six goals. "It's a team effort. If everything goes badly, you as a keeper suffer. I could've been better, but now is a good period, really good in fact. As a team we're working really well defensively and that's the goal, to maintain that stability", he concluded.
