Lewandowski left Barcelona's La Liga match against Real Sociedad on Sunday with back problems that prevented him from walking normally.
Poland's national team said on Monday that star striker Robert Lewandowski will not join the squad for the upcoming international break where the Poles will play two Nations League matches against Portugal and Scotland.
"The Polish Football Association informs that Robert Lewandowski will not take part in the Polish national team's November training camp in preparation for the UEFA Nations League matches against Portugal and Scotland."
"The reason for the national team captain's absence is a back injury he suffered in a La Liga match against Real Sociedad, which will keep him out of action for about ten days,’ the Polish national team said of the Barcelona striker."
The striker will stay in Barcelona to recover from his problems with the intention of being available for Hansi Flick for the Azulgranas' match against Celta Vigo on 23 November.
