Robert Lewandowski has made no secret of his delight at having swapped Bayern Munich for FC Barcelona, and said that in the Mediterranean city he has found a new way of life and new sporting challenges, as well as having fitted in perfectly with Pedri.
On a footballing level, he highlighted his friendship with Pedri, Barcelona's young Spanish international midfielder: "I love players who understand football. He sees things, it's easy. It's the body language, the anticipation. We've found a 'feeling' despite having a different sensibility".
He added that the process of linking up with his team-mates is not over, an area in which "there is huge potential at Barcelona".
"Although the first season has been very good (La Liga title), I know we can do better, especially in the Champions League," in which FC Barcelona crashed out in the group stage for the second year in a row.
