According to reports, both Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski turned down several offers from Saudi Arabian clubs in the summer transfer window to continue their careers in Europe.
However, Saudi league clubs will not give up. According to Spanish outlet 'SPORT', they are still interested in signing La Liga's top scorer for the 2022/23 season.
Lewandowski could be tempted to leave the Catalan giants and join Saudi football's latest project. His contract with Barcelona expires in 2026 and the Polish striker could consider his future if he does not receive a renewal offer.
The 35-year-old can continue to perform at the highest level for several more seasons despite his age. Lewandowski has scored six goals and provided three assists this campaign in all competitions.
