Liverpool fans will protest at Thursday's Europa League match against Atalanta against a two per cent increase in season ticket prices for next season.
The Reds fans have announced that they will not display any flags and banners in the stands at The Kop during the game in protest at the move.
"I understand the concern and that this is being talked about," Jurgen Klopp told a news conference on Wednesday. "It's a complicated issue, we want to have people in the stadium and we want access to it to be possible for everyone. We are a self-sustaining club.
"Since I've been here, every pound we've earned has been reinvested in football. You can say a lot of good things about the club, but I understand the complaints. I'm sure they will find a solution. We must make sure that nothing stands between us and the fans."
In a statement, one of Liverpool's main fan groups called Spion Kop 1906 said they are "disappointed" with the club's intention to raise prices and have agreed with the other fan groups not to display any banners at The Kop on Thursday.
"There is still an opportunity for the club to talk to the fans and on Sunday. Until then we have one message. No price rises."
