Despite Liverpool's poor start to the 2023/2024 season, the Reds are currently considered one of the favourites to be crowned champions of the English domestic competition this season.
Jurgen Klopp's side have taken advantage of Arsenal's back-to-back defeats to Fulham and West Ham respectively to move three points clear at the top after claiming victories over Burnley and most recently Newcastle. The Reds are now five points clear of the Gunners, who two games ago were a point above the Anfield outfit.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, speaking with Gary Neville and David Jones on 'Sky Sport's Monday Night Football, claimed that Liverpool have something Arsenal do not: experience of winning the title recently. According to the pundit, Jurgen Klopp's experience of winning the Premier League in 2020 could be key to his side lifting the trophy this season.
"The team's growing. It's getting better as the weeks go on. And I agree with Gary that Liverpool have got something Arsenal haven't got, which is a manager who's won the title before and has got players in that squad, who are genuinely world class players," said the former defender.
