Liverpool make progress in renewal talks with two team's stars

Liverpool's board is busy with renewals. Key players such as Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk will see their contracts expire at the end of the season if they do not extend their stay at Anfield.
However, they are not the only ones who will be offered a renewal. Two key defenders of the squad such as Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate are also negotiating their contract extensions, according to the 'Mirror'.
The 21-year-old signed a four-season contract in May 2023 but the board wants to reward him for his commitment to the Reds and upgrade his status as a first-team player.
Meanwhile, they are also working on Konate's renewal, although they are still in the early stages of negotiations. In any case, the player's inner circle isn't in a hurry as his current contract expires in June 2026.
The board of directors will continue to work to keep their best players for as many years as possible, although more than one of them is expected to be playing his last games as a Liverpool player.
