Liverpool star Mohamed Salah believes it is "necessary" for his team to lift the Premier League trophy this season to maintain their legacy as a top team in Europe and the world.

Liverpool suffered a case of deja vu at Old Trafford, just three weeks on from a 4-3 defeat there in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Once again, it was a case of missed opportunities and isolated moments of magic from United that may have denied their old rivals matching their record of 20 English top-flight titles.
Another tricky local derby awaits later this month away to Everton, while Liverpool face Champions League chasing Tottenham and Aston Villa in two of their final three games.
Klopp wants to end his Anfield career on a high after winning just one Premier League and one Champions League title with the Reds.
"We won just one Premier League, one Champions League and other cups, but I think it's necessary to win another one. I believe that we can win this one, we just need to focus on each game, but I think it’s necessary to win another title," Mohamed Salah told 'Sky Sports'.
The Egyptian went on to add: "It's necessary to win one more, we won the league just one time so it would be great to win a second time. Two times [we] won the Premier League and one Champions League.
"I think it's necessary for our legacy here at the club to win the Premier League for the second time," he concluded.
