According to reports in The Mirror, Liverpool have added Leroy Sane as their number one target as the main replacement for Mohamed Salah should the Egyptian leave for Saudi Arabia, as his £215m move to Al-Ittihad has been rumoured for the past few months.
The Reds could break their transfer record of £80m, which they spent on Darwin Nunez, to make a move to sign the German winger. The player is liked by Jurgen Klopp who would love the player to return to the Premier League.
Sane's time with Manchester City saw him win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and three League Cups before joining Bayern Munich for £55m in July 2020.
The player this year in Bundesliga has played 7 games and scored 6 goals, he has started all 7 games for Thomas Tuchel and it is expected that Bayern Munich will not let him leave at any price.
