Liverpool take home three points after epic comeback at Southampton

Liverpool came from behind at St Mary's Stadium to beat Southampton 3-2 in the Premier League on Sunday. The Reds remain eight points clear at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City.

Liverpool were in control in the first half thanks to their constant attacking and Szoboszlai's great opener but their plans went awry when Armstrong found an equaliser after a missed penalty. Mateus Fernandes received a pass from Armstrong inside the box and shot to put the Saints ahead. But the Reds regained the lead they had lost when Salah received a superb pass from Gravenberch and found the space to restart the game and then netted again from the penalty spot. The three points are on their way to Anfield.
