Liverpool could join Madrid in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe should the Reds sell their star Mohamed Salah to a Saudi Arabian side next summer, according to 'TeamTalk'.

Kylian Mbappe will be a free agent in 2024 and is unlikely to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, especially after the tug-of-war with the French club this summer.
Everything points to the France international's next team being Real Madrid, who he has always played for since he was a child. Furthermore, few teams in the world have the solvency to try and match the £63million the 2018 World Cup winner earns at PSG per year.
However, a strong contender could join the bid to sign the French superstar. Liverpool could be set to make a move for Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to 'TeamTalk'.
In principle, the Reds would not have the financial solvency to attempt to land the winger, but the English side have an ace up their sleeve. If Liverpool star Mohamed Salah leaves for a Saudi Arabian club, Klopp's side could use the transfer money to go after Real Madrid's target.
A £150m bid to Al-Ittihad has already been rejected this summer, and there are reports that the Saudi Arabian side may return with a £200m bid next summer transfer window, which would give the Reds options to sign Luis Enrique's attacking midfielder.
