The Arsenal midfielder could join Sevilla on loan as soon as the two clubs agree a figure for his option to buy, according to reports in Spain.

Sevilla must accelerate their negotiations in the market if manager Garcia Pimienta wants to be able to make the most of the pre-season.
For the moment, only Chidera Ejuke has arrived and the return of a player on loan, such as Jose Angel Carmona, is on the cards. While trying to bring in the players they don't have, Victor Orta is working on moves that don't cost too much.
That is the case of Sambi Lokonga. Sevilla have been after the Arsenal player for some time and want to repeat the formula they have already done this year with Soumare and Agoume.
The London club are looking for a third loan for the Belgian player. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Spaniards and Lokonga have already reached a pre-agreement.
The main difference right now is the option to buy. While Arsenal want to set a figure close to 12 million euros, Sevilla would not go above eight million. The player's desire and the fact that Arteta does not count on him should mean that this matter will be resolved as soon as possible.
In the last two years he has only played 32 Premier League games. In his defence, it must be said that neither Crystal Palace nor Luton Town are similar to Arsenal's style or to what Garcia Pimienta will be proposing at the Andalusian club.
