Lopetegui gets injured in Liverpool defeat

Spain manager Julen Lopetegui suffered a calf muscle injury and had to leave Anfield on crutches after hurting himself when he jumped in anger at West Ham United missing a clear goalscoring chance.
The Spaniard, who was on the touchline for his side's 5-1 Carabao Cup third-round defeat to Liverpool, jumped when Crysencio Summerville missed a chance in front of Kelleher with the score at 3-1.
Lopetegui hurt his calf, spent the rest of the game on the bench and limped to the press conference. According to journalists at the game, he had to use crutches. "I've injured my calf," admitted Lopetegui, who has not had an easy start to the season, failing to win since the end of August and losing three of his last four games.
