The Argentinian Lucas Roman was signed in the January transfer window by the Barcelona academy and trained with the squad for the first time on Monday.
The striker signed a contract until June 2026 with a buyout clause of 400 million euros. Moreover, Angel Alarcon, who plays for the academy, also trained with Xavi Hernandez's side.
Alarcon renewed his contract on Friday until 2025 and has been training with the first team in recent days. Furthermore, the manager has already counted on him for the match against Girona.
The two academy players were present to bolster the attack as Ousmane Dembele was injured and will be out of action for four weeks.
As a result, Barcelona are already preparing for the next La Liga match against Real Betis on Wednesday.
