Real Madrid right-back Lucas Vazquez has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign a new contract until 2025 and stay at the 'Merengues' for one more season, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Real Madrid's end of season is proving to be a busy one. After the ‘Merengues’ were crowned Champions League winners for the 15th time after beating Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund at Wembley, Florentino Perez confirmed that Luka Modric will remain at the club for another season if the midfielder so wishes.
Toni Kroos will be one of those who will not be part of the squad next season after the German announced his retirement at the end of Euro 2024. Nacho Fernandez and Lucas Vazquez are the two players who have not officially announced what will happen to their futures and whose contracts expire this summer.
While the 'Los Blancos' captain is expected to leave the club as a free agent this summer according to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist has also confirmed that the right-back has reached an agreement with the Real Madrid board to sign a new one-season contract to stay at the club until 2025.
In fact, both Vazquez and Modric still have to have a final meeting to sign the contract and after that the club will make it official, after the ‘Merengues’ announce the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
