Napoli are having a flying start to the 2024/25 campaign, currently sitting top of Serie A with 25 points after their crucial 2-0 win over Milan on Tuesday, thanks to goals from Lukaku and Kvaratskhelia.
It is the duo who are leading the way for the Neapolitans, although it was the Belgian striker who Antonio Conte singled out in the press conference after the win over the Rossoneri at the San Siro.
The former Spurs boss said the Belgium international is an excellent guy and a top player and that he turned down Premier League clubs this summer in order to join Napoli in August.
"Romelu Lukaku rejected bids from Premier League clubs to wait for us and join Napoli in August. He strongly wanted to work with us again and this is fantastic. He’s an excellent guy, top player," he told 'DAZN'.
