Mac Allister taking "a lot of positives" from Liverpool camp
Following the second and final Liverpool match in Germany, new arrival Alexis Mac Allister reflected on the 10-day training camp and the two friendly matches played. The second, against Greuther Furth, proved trickier than anticipated, but the Argentinian believes there are "a lot of positive things" to take from the beginning of their pre-season.

Liverpool's 4-4 draw with 2. Bundesliga side, Greuther Furth on Monday brought an end to their 10-day training camp in Germany. Although they had to salvage a draw in their second fixture, new arrival Alexis Mac Allister believes that there a lot of positive takeaways from the start of the club's pre-season.
"Of course we always want to win, but that’s not the most important thing. We know we have to improve in a couple of things but it’s good to get some minutes in the tank", he told Liverpool's official website.
“There is a lot of positive things [to take from the camp]. I am a new player so I still have to know my teammates, their strengths and their weaknesses, but I think there are really good players here and we can build something important", he continued. "We all try to help each other inside the pitch and that’s very important for our goal, and we will try our best to do a very good season.”
The Reds will soon head to Singapore, where they will play their final two pre-season games against Leicester City and German champions, Bayern Munich.
