Real Madrid will have to look for a new striker to replace Karim Benzema in the near future. The French striker will be renewing his contract until 2024, but it's thought he'll put and end to his stint at the Bernabeu in 2025.
Therefore, one of the strikers who has tempted the board is none other than Rasmus Hojlund, the 20 year old forward who is playing first team football at Atalanta and who has started to be called up for the Denmark national side.
Due to his stature, blond hair and his potent record in front of goal, the Dane has started to be compared with Man City talent Erling Haaland. However, Madrid aren't the only side interested in the 'next cyborg'.
According to 'The Daily Mail', the 'Merengues' will have to go into a tough battle with Manchester United to sign Hojlund. After getting knocked out against Sevilla, Erik ten Hag will be looking for a revamp for the Red Devils, and will try and get a new goal-scorer.
Therefore, Madrid and the Mancunian side will have to start dialogues with Atalanta to find out the Danish striker's situation and start to negotiate for him. Having said that, the Italians will try and get several millions to let him go.
