Madrid's centre, with the Plaza Mayor at the heart, has played host and continues to welcome hundreds of Celtic fans who, with or without a ticket, want to support their team against Real Madrid.

With chants, beer, vodka and a football which gets bounced around the air without warning, hundreds of Scottish fans concentrated on the Plaza Mayor, wearing green and white shirts and waving flags of the same colour to start their pre-match party for the game against Real Madrid.
A lot of the fans arrived on Monday, and some are thinking of staying until the weekend, but they have all come together to make a special atmosphere in the stadium and in the streets to cheer on their side before and after the match.
Some of the fans told 'EFE' that they do not have tickets for the Bernabeu, but it is "good enough to live the atmosphere in the street and have a beer with friends".
"I came on Monday and I'm leaving on Thursday. I came days before the game to get away from my wife", Boby MacDonals said to 'EFE' while roaring with laughter.
Celtic's game against Real Madrid starts at 18:45 CEST this Wednesday and those without a ticket claim that they will stay in the centre in places such as the Plaza Mayor, where the terraces and restaurants are already full with Scottish fans, who have hung up huge green and white flags everywhere.
However, the fact that they are there annoys other visitors and people who live there, who do not like all the noise and the non-stop drinking in the open-air terraces.
"We've got to leave now. We're trying to sit down, but they're scary and out-of-control, drunk and everything shows that there'll be trouble. The amount of police there are at the moment isn't enough for so many people", Maria said who was not happy about it after arriving at the Plaza Mayor with two friends.
