Real Madrid announced on Thursday that they are doing their bit to help the victims of the DANA. In collaboration with the Cruz Roja, the organisation is donating 1 million euros, a figure with which it is launching a fundraising campaign for those most affected.

Real Madrid have announced on Thursday that they are donating 1 million euros to help those affected by the consequences of the DANA in various areas of Spain. Especially in the Valencian Community.
The Real Madrid Foundation and the Cruz Roja have launched a fundraising campaign on Thursday to support those affected by the severe cold spell that is ravaging the country, with added attention to Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia.
Real Madrid inform that they have decided to "support this campaign with a donation of 1 million euros to help the many families who are in a critical situation and need all our help and solidarity".
At the moment, at least 158 people have been confirmed dead -155 in the Valencia region-. The Military Emergency Unit will send troops to work on the distribution of aid to those most in need.
