Robert Lewandowski gave an interview to the newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' in which he reviewed the season that is about to end and confirmed, once again, that he is staying at Barcelona. His agent had already made this clear in the face of speculation in the Catalan press, which now includes the Pole's analysis. One of them is about how Real Madrid have managed to win the most of games in which they have not played particularly well.

Robert Lewandowski has been one of the most recurrent protagonists in the press with the end of the season. It is often mentioned that the Barcelona board would not say no to a sale this summer. He has a contract until 2026 and, a few days ago, his agent confirmed that he will not be moving from Barcelona, where, if it serves the reader as an example of how settled he is, his wife has just opened a gym. Evidently, a move is not in his plans.
On Wednesday, the Pole finally spoke for himself in an interview with 'Mundo Deportivo'. He offered an analysis of the campaign that is about to end with the game against Sevilla away from home, confirmed that yes, he will remain in the team for the 24-25, said that he sees himself at the highest level also in the 25-26 and mentioned Real Madrid as an example of taking points at times when the brilliance of the game is not particularly remarkable.
"This season, we were aiming for more than second place. I'm sure we could have done more, but, now, I have a feeling, which is also inside the dressing room, that we would like to prepare for next season now. We know that we have great potential in the team, with very good players, and we can win more games and titles next season. I can also score more goals than last season and even than two seasons ago because I feel very good physically. Also, this year, we have played with a lot of young players and I think it has been a great experience for them," he said.
"This experience, for next season, both for the young players and for the whole team, will help us to win games that we have lost this year. We have to learn that if there are games we can't win, we have to try not to lose them. Without those points, we would have finished second in La Liga. I am sure that, if we are focused on ourselves, we can think about titles for sure, in the league and in the Champions League, although, there, it also depends on luck. This year, we were unlucky with injuries as well," he added.
On the Champions League elimination, he admitted: "When I think about the Champions League, I only think about one game: the second leg against PSG. It was one day and I think this experience is very important for us. Now, it's difficult to accept, but, thinking about the future, it can be very important. In La Liga, Madrid have won a lot of games without playing well and I think that's something we have to improve on next season".
