Madrid interested in Musiala as Mbappe back-up

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has long been on Real Madrid's agenda and is expected to join the Spanish giants in the upcoming summer transfer window.
His current contract with the Parisian club expires in June 2024 and he could join Madrid as a free agent, which PSG will try to prevent at all costs. The La Liga club are keen to sign him but they also have a plan B.
According to 'Bild', 'Los Blancos' are interested in moving for Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala if they are unable to sign the French star in the summer. Nevertheless, the 20-year-old is also on Manchester City's radar as coach Pep Guardiola is considering him as a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne.
The same media outlet reports that Bayern would be willing to triple Musiala's £6.9m-a-year salary to keep him at the Allianz Arena next summer.
