Madrid reach agreement with Asencio to sign new deal in next months

The breakthrough of Real Madrid academy player Raul Asencio during the 2024/25 campaign has been one of the few pieces of good news for the 'Merengues', who have suffered a number of injuries in defence this season.
The Spanish defender was called up to the first team following long-term injuries to Carvajal and Militao. Alaba has finally recovered after more than a year on the sidelines, but Ancelotti has decided that the academy player will take his place in defence alongside Rudiger or Tchouameni.
The ‘Merengues’ board is quite happy with the performances of the Madrid youth player this season and wants to extend his commitment to ‘Los Blancos’ in the long term.
In fact, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit have reached an agreement with the 21-year-old defender to sign a new deal in the coming months.
