Madrid squad for Man City UCL clash: Alaba, Rudiger, Vazquez back

Carlo Ancelotti is taking everyone available for the ‘final’ against Manchester City. Antonio Rudiger, who is expected to start, David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez, who will start from the bench, have recovered in time. Only Carvajal and Militao are out through injury.

Real Madrid have half their season on the line this Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu. After the 2-3 win in the first leg, Ancelotti's men welcome Manchester City with the mission of making a strong home performance and progressing to the round of 16.
For the game against the Sky Blues, Ancelotti will have some very important players back in defence, the area where he has had - and still has - the most absentees this season. And he can return several players to their original positions.
Antonio Rudiger is one of the big new additions to the squad list. The German centre-back has been named in the squad and, barring any surprises, will start against Manchester City in an expected clash against Erling Haaland.
David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez have also recovered in time, although they are less likely to make the starting eleven. It is virtually impossible for them to be in the starting line-up.
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Mestre.
Defenders: Vallejo, Garcia, Rudiger, Mendy, Alaba, Asencio, Lucas Vazquez.
Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Modric, Tchouameni, Guler, Ceballos.
Forwards: Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo, Endrick, Brahim.
