Antonio Rudiger has been called up by coach Carlo Ancelotti for Sunday's La Liga match against Atletico Madrid despite missing Real Madrid's last two training sessions. The German suffered a blow to his thigh on Thursday and has been unable to train.
Aurelien Tchouameni will be unavailable to help his team in the Madrid derby, as will Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and David Alaba, who are still recovering from injuries.
The Italian manager will be trying to push the German defender's recovery to the last minute due to the absence of Militao and Alaba in defence. Meanwhile, Tchouameni has not been called up due to several yellow cards.
Goalkeepers: Andriy Lunin, Kepa Arrizabalga and Diego Pineiro
Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vazquez, Nacho Fernandez, Antonio Rudiger, Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy.
