Madrid to renew everyone who runs out of contract, except Mariano

With the Copa del Rey already under their belts, Real Madrid are focusing on the crucial Champions League semi-final against Manchester City. On Tuesday, the Santiago Bernabeu is set to host Pep Guardiola's side for the first leg.
The priority in footballing terms is exactly that, but the Madrid side are already working on planning for next season. The board have work ahead of them, with up to 7 players running out of contract at the end of the season.
According to 'El Partidazo de COPE', the club are optimistic about renewing 6 of them, who all end their contract on the 30th June. The one they have no doubts over because they think he'll be leaving the side is Mariano Diaz, who they won't be offering a renewal to.
That's why a new contract for Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio and Nacho Fernandez is expected. They will all decide when there's nothing left to play for, which means after they finish their Champions League campaign.
