Madrid's Ancelotti refuses to go to referees' meeting: "They don't understand us"
Carlo Ancelotti did not even attend the referees' meeting with the coaches that was scheduled for 16:00 on Tuesday: he only went to the managers' meeting. The 'GOL' cameras caught him on his way out of the RFEF facilities. He said "they don't understand the coaches" in reference to the complaints against the relevant RFEF committee.

At 14:00 CET on Tuesday, a meeting of the coaches' association was scheduled to take place at the RFEF facilities with the committee to settle their affairs at the Federation. Carlo Ancelotti was among those invited. At around 16:00 CET, he could be seen leaving the facilities rather disgruntled. When asked a couple of questions by colleagues from 'GOL' and the 'COPE' channel, he was indignant.
"How was the meeting, Carlo? Are you happy?," a journalist asked him first. "No. A mess," the Italian coach replied. "Why do you say it was a mess?" he was asked again. "They don't understand the coaches," he said.
The reason for the Real Madrid coach's anger is because, at one point during the meeting, a complaint was put on the table. The tacticians are protesting because there are cases in which they do not receive the money owed to them from their contracts when they are sacked from their teams. The response of the official bodies has not been made public, but on the website of the 'COPE' channel, it can be read that Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez supported him, among others.
Real Betis' Manuel Pellegrini, Real Sociedad's Imanol Alguacil, Celta Vigo's Rafa Benitez and Villarreal's Marcelino Garcia Toral all missed the event. The 'Groguet' was being presented after his return to La Ceramica was confirmed, so he had a strong reason not to be there. Cholo Simeone, representing Atletico Madrid, left shortly after the meeting with the referees got underway.
