Madrid's hopes of Bellingham rise after knocked out of UCL

According to 'Bild', the fact that Borussia Dortmund have been knocked out of the Champions League could bring consequences with regards to Jude Bellingham. Real Madrid are still hoping to go for the Englishman.

Borussia Dortmund's stay in this season's Champions League is over. The German side were beaten by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and said good bye to the European competition.
Jude Bellingham, one of the side's main men, will be one of the players to feel the effects. According to 'Bild', the German club's chances of keeping the Englishman are getting more and more remote, especially after this loss.
In terms of money, Dortmund won't get UEFA's bonus of getting through to the quarter finals. It's a sum which was going to go directly to giving Bellingham a pay rise in the renewal offer they were preparing.
What's more, the board are not feeling positive about it. Manager Edin Terzic said after the game that the next few games will be key. Sporting Director Kehl also admitted before the game that they would do everything they could to keep him.
