According to 'EFE', the defender could be out of action for a month but we will have to wait for the definitive medical tests to know the exact period.
Medical tests will be held on Saturday and everything will depend on the evolution of Mendy, who already missed 14 games last season due to injury.
The footballer could miss six La Liga matches if he completes the month-long absence. He will also miss the Champions League last-16 clash against Liverpool.
