French midfielder Aurelien Tchoaumeni completed Real Madrid's training session on Friday with the rest of his available teammates and could be called up again for next Sunday's match against Villarreal.
The France international suffered a foot injury during 'El Clasico' against Barcelona and has missed Real Madrid's last eight games. In Friday's training session, Tchoaumeni felt good and is expected to be available against Villarreal.
The list of absentees includes Vinicius Junior and Arda Guler with muscle tears, Dani Carvajal, who is suffering from a soleus injury in his left leg, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao and Eduardo Camavinga with a ruptured external lateral ligament in his right knee.
Camavinga has already worked on the pitch with a bandage on his right leg to protect the joint and is following his specific recovery plan. The same case as Vinicius, Carvajal and Arda Guler. All three trained on their own and their return will have to wait.
The rest of the players completed training under the orders of Carlo Ancelotti before joining the first team basketball and women's football squads this Friday to celebrate the club's Christmas lunch.
