Maguire returns to Man Utd from England duty with injury

The 'FIFA virus' is always present in every international break. In this case, one of those affected has been Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire, who was forced off the field in the 67th minute after picking up an injury in England's defeat to Brazil.
The England defender has returned to Carrington, the Red Devils announced in an official statement, to be assessed by their medical staff and to undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury, which does not appear to be serious.
However, to avoid any unforeseen circumstances the former Leicester man will miss England's next friendly against Belgium and it remains to be seen whether he will be available for Erik ten Hag when the Mancunians take on Brentford in their next Premier League game.
