Man United are back to Premier League action as the October international break has come to its end. The Red Devils host Brentford on Saturday at Old Trafford. Ahead of the clash, the club has issued a full fitness update via an official statement released on Thursday.
"Noussair Mazraoui, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad are all back in training after missing games for their countries during the international break," confirm United on their official website. The trio were all photographed as they took part in Thursday's training session at Carrington.
However, the postive news are countered by a wave of negative news as Mainoo and Maguire have both been ruled out from the squad due to injuries." Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire were absent [from training] after picking up muscle injuries against Villa, and they are both expected to be out for a few weeks", reads the statement.
Meanwhile, Shaw and Malacia are said to be continuing with their recovery following their long-term injuries. "Tyrell Malacia continued his progress towards recovery from long-term injury by participating in the first part of the group session," confirmed United, whereas Luke Shaw is "making steady progress in his rehabilitation" following his muscle injury. Elsewhere, United have stated that Mason Mount is recovering from a knock sustained against Tottenham.
