Makkelie to referee Barcelona v Napoli, Turpin in the middle for Arsenal v Porto
UEFA has announced the refereeing assignments for two of the Champions League round of 16 second legs. Danny Makkelie will referee Barca v Napoli and Clement Turpin will officiate Arsenal v Porto.

Dutchman Danny Makkelie will take charge of the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie between Barcelona and Napoli at the Camp Nou on 12th March.
Makkelie, 41, will be assisted by compatriots Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries on the sidelines and Rob Dieperink on the VAR.
This will be Makkelie's fourth time refereeing Barcelona, with a record of two wins for the 'Cules' against Roma (4-1. 4th April 2018) and Juventus (0-2. 28th October 2020) and one defeat against Bayern Munich (2-0. 13th September 2022).
The other Champions League round of 16 match on 12th March between Arsenal and Porto will be officiated by Frenchman Clement Turpin, assisted by fellow Frenchmen Nicolas Danos and Erwan Finjean and Jerome Brisand on VAR.
