Mallorca considers several options to replace Aguirre

Mallorca are already looking ahead to next season. Less than 48 hours after losing the Copa del Rey final, the Balearic team have to start planning for the 2024/25 campaign.
The big question is who will sit on the bench at Son Moix. The main idea is that Javier Aguirre, who has led the club to another final, will remain in charge. But the Basque has rejected several renewal offers that Mallorca have put on the table.
As a result, the club do not want to waste any more time and have three coaches in mind for the summer, according to 'Relevo'. Diego Martinez is the main contender to be in charge of the La Liga club. He has been without a team since leaving Olympiacos in December.
The second of those coaches on the board's agenda is Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Dutchman coached PSV last season and is also without a team. It would be his first adventure in Spain as a coach.
Finally, Eder Sarabia, who was recently sacked from Andorra and is liked for his brave style of play, is the third favourite to take the reins at Mallorca.
